Dangerous Goods Training
The successful application of regulations concerning the transport of dangerous goods and the achievement of their objectives are greatly dependent on the appreciation by all individuals concerned of the risks involved and on a detailed understanding of the Regulations. This can only be achieved by properly planned and maintained initial and recurrent training programmes for all persons concerned in the transport of dangerous goods.
At Conwell International we specialise in offering training for all personal categories of employees and airport staff to correspond with the legal ADR, ICAO and IATA requirements. Training can be provided in either English or German Language.
Dangerous Goods Training as required in the ICAO T.I. & IATA 1.5 for all personnel categories 1 -12 as shown in Tab 1.5.A IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Training Solutions
We also offer convenient in-house training courses.
Initial Training as shown in IATA 1.5 is conducted in courses of 1 - 5 days depending on the job requirements and is valid for a period of 24 months
Recurrent training is conducted in courses of 1 - 3 days and will be valid for a further 24 months.
Recurrent training must take place within 24 months of previous training to ensure knowledge is current, unless a competent authority has defined a shorter period.
Note IATA: However, if recurrent training is completed within the final 3 months of validity of previous training, the period of validity extends from the date on which the recurrent training was completed until 24 months from the expiry date of that previous training.

Workshops are now available for your staff who are involved with the packing and documentation of dangerous goods.
